About
Animated fantasy feature about a young hat maker who is turned into an old woman by a witch who enters her shop. After the encounter she bumps into a wizard and is swept into his campaign against the king. The film was directed by Hayao Miyazaki.
Trivia
The film is loosely based on Diana Wynne Jones' 1986 novel of the same name. It went on to be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.
