The Buckeye State
The US state of Ohio is located in the Midwestern region. It is the 7th-most populous state with the largest metropolitan area being that of the Greater Cleveland area. The land was once the territory of the Iroquois people. The state's official mammal is the white-tailed deer. Ohio was the 17th state to join the Union.
The state's motto is, "With God, all things are possible." The first man to walk on the moon, Neil Armstrong, was from Ohio. An alleyway in Warren, Ohio has been dedicated to rocker Dave Grohl.
