The Cornhusker State
The US state of Nebraska is located in the Midwestern region. It is the only state in the US to be bordered by six other states. The state's largest metropolitan area is that of Omaha–Council Bluffs. The state's official mammal is the White-tailed deer. Minnesota became the 37th state to join the Union.
The state is known for its intense thunderstorms and frequent tornados. Nebraska is also known for being the origin of the Reuben sandwich and Kool-Aid. The state motto is, 'Equality before the law.'
