A country in the southern Indochinese Peninsula in Southeast Asia. It is bordered by Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and the Gulf of Thailand. It was known as Kampuchea and then Democratic Kampuchea from 1975 to 1982.
The country's flag is the only one in the world with a building on it -Angkor Wat. There are millions of active landmines located across the country. The Tonle Sap is the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia.
