A country in North Africa bordered by Tunisia, Libya, Niger, Mali, Mauritania and Morocco. It is considered part of the Maghreb region of North Africa. The official languages of Algeria are Arabic and Berber.
The Sahara Desert covers much of Algeria. The country has rich oil and natural gas reserves. Algerians drink tea throughout the day. The country has one of the most famous bridges in the world named the Constantine Suspension Bridge.
